Oh, the glamour

Sometimes, I am so preoccupied by the drabbness of my life. The endless laundry,  the fact that I never seem to be on good terms with all my children at once, the way my days just seem full of changing diapers and cleaning  something, the always missing portable phone...

But sometimes, sometimes I look up and see the beauty.

Whether it be the sun rays, or my children's  faces - it is always there. God is always there.

How sad that I  don't look up enough  some days.

2014 kind of did a number on me.  I wasn't  looking  up enough.

Here's  to looking  up in 2015.

I want to get back to life this coming  year. Back to prayer. Back to cooking.Back to reading and blogging  and crafting.  With infant twins, I am sure I am over estimating  my abilities - but that is what New Year's  Resolutions  are all about, right? Haha

Blessings  to you and yours in 2015.

I hope we meet up here often...

Where to begin?

I haven't written anything for this blog in over a year. If there ever was a year in my life that I should have been recording,  it's this past one. But, being the eventful year that it was - I had no time for anything, least of all something as self absorbed and time consuming as blogging.
I can't even figure out where to start. A year ago this week,  on December 19th, I took a pregnancy test. It was positive. Today I hold two baby boys in my arms. They are three weeks old, and were due on December 19. They came early. They were not the baby of the positive test last year. We lost that sweet baby.
My sister affectionately called 2014 "The Year of Three Babies". And that it was. A miscarriage and twins all in one year....it was a very long year.
So , I was unable to write as it all was happening.  But now I come here to process. I can't do that all in one post, but I hope that it will happen gently, in time, as I return here to share bits of our life.
To start, I will shamelessly brag about our perfect, new, twin sons. Our sixth and seventh children!
Great blessings from God.
I am not worthy, that I know, but His grace will be my affirmation - that we are not alone in this adventure.
